Community Services

PARISH PASTORAL COUNCIL
This Council provides a voice for lay people in decision making processes in our Parish.

PARISH FINANCE COUNCIL - INCLUDING MAINTENANCE AND WHS COMMITTEE
This Committee oversees the financial administration of the Parish and addresses maintenance issues at our two Churches, the Hall and the Parish Office.
A sub committee meets monthly to ensure that our Parish meets our work health and safety obligations.

VISITING THE SICK AND HOMEBOUND
A vital part of this ministry is the visitation of the sick and housebound, many of whom live alone or whose families live far way.  Those in retirement villages or nursing homes receive regular visits and communion from our volunteers.
If you require a visit from someone from our Parish please contact the Parish Office.

ST VINCENT DE PAUL SOCIETY (SVdP)
A Lay Catholic organisation that aspires to live the Gospel message by serving Christ in the poor with dignity, respect, justice, hope, love and joy.  The Society assists families and individuals, who are marginalised, disadvantaged or in need, within our community.  Volunteers are always needed.  Support and training will be provided.

  • Conference Volunteers - home visits to those who request assistance.
  • Vinnies Family Centres - volunteers required to sort, price and sell donated goods.
  • Fred's Van - volunteers prepare and serve an evening meal to the lonely, the poor and homeless people.
